Bay Beach Amusement Park

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has been a destination for families for over 130 years. In June 2024, the community celebrated the opening of a new, inclusive playground at the amusement park called Marilyn’s Oasis. Named in honor of Marilyn Kress Swanson, the late daughter of Green Bay Packaging founder George Kress, this playground is located just west of the Zippin Pippin wooden roller coaster. This inclusive Burke playspace is one of the largest in the state of Wisconsin.

Marilyn’s Oasis was created with the support of several organizations, including Green Bay Packaging's George Kress Foundation, McDonalds Companies, Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, the City of Green Bay, and Friends of Bay Beach Amusement Park. The playground is designed with safety and inclusivity in mind, featuring a playspace for children ages 5-12 and specialized equipment Serenity Spot®, PlayEnsemble® musical instruments, a roller slide, a PlayHouse and more. This thoughtful addition to the amusement park ensures that children of all abilities can enjoy a fun and safe environment.
